ATI Medical to Expand to Residential Market
ATI Medical, a Glendale-based company that rents medical equipment to hospitals, said it plans to also begin renting products to the residential health-care market.
In making the announcement at ATI’s annual meeting, President Paul E. Stevenson said the portion of the residential market in which ATI will compete has annual revenue of about $3 billion, compared with $250 million for the hospital market in which ATI now vies.
ATI said it is arranging relationships with residential health-care dealers in 120 U.S. cities that would have exclusive rights to ATI’s equipment.
