John Walsh, an all-league quarterback for West Torrance High, plans to transfer to Carson High for his senior season, West Torrance co-coaches Mark Knox and John Black said. Walsh passed for 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns last season, leading West Torrance to a 10-2 record and the Ocean League title.
