Nick Beverley, NHL defenseman for more than 10 seasons, was named assistant general manager of the Kings.
Beverley, who played with the Boston Bruins, the New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars and the Kings in the 1970s, was the club’s director of player personnel the last two years.
Before that, he was a King assistant coach, head coach of the team’s New Haven American League affiliate and a scout.
