Man Pleads Innocent to Raping Comic’s Girlfriend
A man pleaded innocent Friday to charges that he raped comedian Sam Kinison’s girlfriend in the comic’s Hollywood Hills home while Kinison was asleep in another part of the house.
Unway Carter appeared in Superior Court for arraignment and pleaded not guilty to five felony sex assault counts. Judge Dino Fulgoni scheduled an Aug. 16 trial and ordered Carter to remain in custody.
