Curtain Rises Again for ‘Chorus Line’: ‘A Chorus Line’ is still dancing. Due to a dramatic surge in ticket sales, the Los Angeles production of the musical, which was scheduled to close Sunday at the Las Palmas Theater in Hollywood, has been extended for an additional week. Since the announcement of the show’s closing last month, and with the inception of several discount promotions, attendance for “Chorus Line” has jumped by 30% and the show has been playing to 95% capacity of the 392-seat theater, producers said. Bebe Neuwirth of the “Cheers” television show joined the company two weeks ago and will continue in her role as Cassie. Tickets are on sale through Sunday.
