FILLMORE : Contract Renewed for Bus Service
The Fillmore City Council has renewed its agreement with the Fillmore Area Transit Company to provide bus service within Fillmore and around the county for fiscal 1990-1991.
The transit company offers bus service five days a week to Piru, Santa Paula and Ventura, including a direct commuter service to the County Government Center. The company also offers service around the city of Fillmore.
Except for the route within city limits, the county subsidizes between 60% and 80% of the cost of the bus service. The city will pay $101,600 for service in 1990-91, nearly half its allotment of state Transportation Development funds.
