Police arrested two men Sunday in connection with the shooting death of a 31-year-old San Diego man who was killed Friday evening, authorities said.
Alejandro Villapando, 24, and Samuel Garcia, 25, were booked on suspicion of murder in the slaying of Hector Ybarro, who was found dead on the sidewalk in the 700 block of South 31st Street, where he lived.
Ybarro had been shot in the chest.
Villapando and Garcia, who both live in the 4000 block of National Avenue, are being held at County Jail downtown.
