SHORT TAKES : Larry King Network Debut Set
Cable and radio talk show host Larry King will make his network debut this fall in an NBC interview and variety special, the network said Thursday.
The star of CNN’s “Larry King Live” and Mutual Broadcasting Co.’s “The Larry King Show” will premiere his one-hour NBC special telecast on Oct. 28 at 8 p.m.
“Sunday Night with Larry King” will feature celebrity interviews and in-person performances. The guests have not yet been named.
The announcement was made at a gathering of television writers covering news of the fall season.
