Woodland Hills Rider 4th in Equestrian Event
Cece Younger of Woodland Hills finished fourth in show jumping at the $100,000 Queen Elizabeth Cup equestrian competition held recently before a crowd of 45,000 in Calgary, Alberta.
Younger, 28, riding the highest-placing stallion, Young Fleet, also was fourth overall among 600 world-class woman riders and earned $15,000 in prize money.
Younger is awaiting word on whether she has qualified for the Spruce Meadows Masters in September in Calgary, where she would compete as a member of the U.S. Equestrian Team. Her goal is to compete in the 1992 Olympics.
