Woman Slain, Husband Wounded in Oceanside
An Oceanside woman was found dead and her husband critically wounded Tuesday in what a police spokesman said may have been a murder-suicide attempt.
Griselda Rodriguez, 44, was found dead in the bedroom of her home in the 400 block of Calle Montecito by police, who responded shortly after noon to a neighbor’s report of shots being fired.
Joaquin Rodriguez was also found in the room. He had a gunshot wound to the head and was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Palomar Hospital, where he was in critical condition Tuesday night.
