Applauds Baggage Tip
The baggage tip in Jerry Hulse’s Travel Tips on July 8 was excellent. It is a good idea for people to try and help their own situation when it comes to lost baggage.
However, I have one more suggestion to add, whether domestically or internationally. Passengers are already asked to put name tags on their luggage. But if people would attach four tags (preferably the sticker type) in the following manner, it would help the lost luggage problem.
Add two name tags, one on the inside and one on the outside of the bag with your home or office phone and address, plus two name tags (one inside, one outside also) with your hotel or out-of-town address and phone. Mark with the dates you are traveling.
