Stone, Powell to Get Special Emmys for Casting Work
Casting directors Randy Stone and Holly Powell have been selected to receive Emmy Awards for outstanding achievement in casting for a miniseries or a special for their work on CBS’ “The Incident,” the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences said.
Stone and Howell will be given their Emmys during a non-televised ceremony on Sept. 15 honoring winners in the craft categories. Winners of the Emmys for best programs, acting, writing and directing will be presented the following night in nationally televised proceedings.
The TV academy previously said that engineering Emmys will be given to Comark Communications Inc., Varian/Eimac and to Zaxcom Video Inc.
