3 Die Competing in Australia ‘Fun Run’

SYDNEY, Australia — Three men competing in Australia’s biggest “fun run” Sunday died from apparent heart failure, and at least 24 were hospitalized for problems ranging from exhaustion to leg injuries, hospital officials reported.
The race covers nine miles from downtown to Bondi Beach.
