MISSION VIEJO : Parks-Recreation Replacement Named
A longtime South County resident has been named the city’s new parks and recreation director.
Kelly Doyle, who has lived in San Clemente for the past 11 years, will take over the job from Wayne Lowery, who resigned earlier this summer.
Doyle, who has 15 years’ experience working for parks and recreation departments in San Clemente and Corona, will begin his new job on Monday. “The city is fortunate to attract someone of Mr. Doyle’s caliber,” said City Manager Fred Sorsabal. “His reputation is excellent and he has many years of parks and recreation experience.”
Doyle holds a master’s degree in public administration and has done graduate work in recreation administration.
