Golden West Opens Soccer Season With Victory
The Golden West College men’s soccer team opened the season with a 4-0 victory over Citrus Wednesday night at Golden West.
Brian Berkemer and Kifah Khodr scored in the first half and Jason Merkel and Jed Smith in the second. Golden West goalkeeper Chris Leavich had nine saves in the nonconference match.
