FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Motorists Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are keyed to the nearest city or cities and are spotted on the map by number.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

1. Carson: Northbound and southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; Pacific Coast Highway to Del Amo Boulevard; today, 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; raised markers.

2. Carson: Northbound No. 2, 3 and 4 lanes; at 228th Street and Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp; today, 6:30 to 11:30 a.m.; bridge repair.

3. Carson: Northbound No. 4 lane; 228th Street; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Bell: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; southbound from Florence Avenue to Clara Street; northbound from Firestone Boulevard to Clara Street; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

5. Commerce: Southbound Washington Boulevard off-ramp; Monday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

6. South Gate: Southbound No. 4 lane; Firestone Boulevard to Los Angeles River; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

7. South Gate: Northbound No. 4 lane; Los Angeles River to Firestone Boulevard; Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

8. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; southbound Humphreys Avenue over-crossing to Los Angeles River; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

9. Monterey Park: Eastbound No. 1 lane; Paramount Boulevard to San Gabriel Boulevard; today, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.; drain cleaning and glare screen repair.

10. Monterey Park: Eastbound No. 1 lane; San Gabriel Boulevard to Santa Anita Avenue; Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; glare screen repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

11. Long Beach: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes; at Bellflower Boulevard and Woodruff Avenue on-ramp and Bellflower Boulevard off-ramp; Saturday, 6 to 11 a.m.; bridge repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

12. Cerritos: Southbound on-ramp at South Street; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

13. Downey: Northbound connectors from San Gabriel River Freeway (605) to northbound and southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5), northbound Santa Ana Freeway connectors to northbound and southbound San Gabriel River Freeway, Firestone Boulevard on-ramp and 4th Avenue on-ramp and off-ramp; today, 6 a.m. to noon; guardrail repair.

14. Lakewood: Southbound Del Amo Boulevard on-ramp; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

15. Long Beach: Southbound Carson Street on-ramp; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.
