Thomas M. McGivern has been appointed vice president and general manager, business management for McDonnell Douglas Space Systems Co. in Huntington Beach. A 31-year veteran of McDonnell Douglas, he was most recently director of contracts. McGivern also was director of business management for all Huntington Beach missile programs and managed contracts for the Manned Orbiting Laboratory project and other space programs.
