FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Work Sites Scheduled

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are keyed to the nearest city or cities and are spotted on the map by number.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Cerritos: Eastbound and westbound No. 4 lanes; from the eastbound Artesia Freeway connector to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway, and on the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway from Artesia Boulevard to the Artesia Freeway interchange; today, 6 a.m. to noon; crack seal repair.

2. Long Beach: Eastbound and westbound No. 4 and 5 lanes; Paramount Boulevard to Cherry Avenue, and Paramount Boulevard and Cherry Avenue off-ramps; today, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.; patching.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

3. East Los Angeles: Eastbound No. 4 lane; Euclid Avenue to Whittier Boulevard and Lorena Street off-ramps; Monday and Tuesday, 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.; guard rail repair.

4. Monterey Park: Eastbound No. 4 lane; Atlantic Boulevard to Markland Drive; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; drain cleaning and sweeping.

5. Various Cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lanes; Azusa Avenue to Indiana Avenue; Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; sweeping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

6. Cerritos: Northbound on-ramp at South Street; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

7. Cerritos: Southbound No. 1 lane; South Street to Del Amo Boulevard; Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

8. Lakewood: Northbound on-ramp at Del Amo Boulevard; Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

9. Long Beach: Northbound on-ramp at Spring Street; Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

10. Long Beach: Northbound No. 4 lane; at Wardlow Road; Tuesday and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m; bridge repair.

11. Long Beach: Northbound on-ramp at Carson Street; Tuesday, 8:30 to 11 a.m.; crack seal repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

12. Commerce: Northbound on-ramp at Washington Boulevard; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

13. Norwalk: Northbound No. 4 lane; Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

14. Long Beach: Southbound all lanes; Pacific Coast Highway on-ramp to Ocean Boulevard, and Henry Ford Avenue and Anaheim Street on-ramps; today, 7:30 to 11 a.m.; permit work.
