POINT MUGU : Navy Reservist Dies in Collision on Base
A Navy reservist on weekend training at the Pacific Missile Test Center in Point Mugu died Saturday after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a truck on the base, authorities said.
Daniel Ian Ross, 24, of San Gabriel was heading from a morning training class to another training site when his motorcycle crashed head-on with a contractor’s truck, said Marilyn Moore, a Navy Reserve spokeswoman.
Moore said an investigation is under way.
