Businessland to Lay Off Workers: Computer reseller Businessland Inc. said it will lay off 370 workers, or about 10% of the company’s work force, in a cost-cutting move aimed at reversing three straight quarters of losses. The company said it will close money-losing retail subsidiary ComputerCraft and merge the unit’s 16 stores into the Businessland chain, which sells primarily to large corporations. It was the third reorganization this year at Businessland.
