‘California Light’ in Spotlight
LAGUNA BEACH — The Laguna Art Museum will hold a free, daylong symposium on its “California Light: 1900-1930” exhibition Oct. 13 at the Forum Theatre on the Festival of Arts grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Road.
Sponsored by the museum’s Historical Collection Council, the event will be hosted by guest curator Patricia Trenton. The symposium begins at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by an open forum in the afternoon and a tour of the exhibition at the museum, concluding at 5 p.m.
Parking will be available for $1 across the street from the theater. A continental breakfast and buffet lunch will be available on the festival grounds for $15. Reservations for meals must be placed by Oct. 5. Checks may be made payable to the Historical Collections Council and sent to Janet Dominik, 25200 La Paz Road, No. 210, Laguna Hills, Calif. 92653.
