Vandals Shoot Up Cars in Clairemont
Vandals drove through a Clairemont neighborhood and shot the windows out of cars late Friday night, police said.
Police said there were no injuries in the drive-by shooting that damaged 50 cars and broke 100 windows. Some houses were also struck by the shots.
A witness said he heard gunshots and saw youths in a pick-up truck passing by. Police found .22-caliber shells at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
