Stemming the Bleeding of Rolex Ostentation

Re “Timely Alternatives” (Sept. 24): My heart just bleeds for the fearful Rolex owners. The Rolex bandits threaten the foundation of Southern California--the right to tasteless and ostentatious display. What are the police doing to stop this senseless tragedy?
