Man Shot to Death at Bar in Lawndale
An unidentified man was shot to death early Friday at a Lawndale bar, according to Sheriff’s Department officials. A motive has not been determined and no arrests have been made, said Deputy Chris Wahla, sheriff’s spokesman.
Wahla said sheriff’s deputies from the Lennox substation, responding to a call, found the man lying on the sidewalk in front of Mi Amigos No. 1 Bar on the 4600 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard at about 12:30 a.m. He was taken to Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:24 a.m.
