Golden West 29, Southwestern 12--Fullback Mike Graff gained 105 yards in nine carries and tailback Frank Vaccaro gained 85 in 14 carries and Golden West (4-0, 3-0) totalled 353 yards on the ground at Chula Vista.

The Rustlers also blocked a punt and intercepted five passes. Greg Szuba and Bobby Sylvia each had two interceptions and Mitch Melbon one, giving him four for the season, one in each game. Sylvia also has four interceptions this season. Southwestern is 1-4 and 0-3.

Fullerton 45, Mt. San Antonio 20--Fullerton’s Eric Robinson rushed for 103 yards, threw for 113 yards and accounted for four touchdowns to lead the Hornets (4-0, 3-0) at Mt. San Antonio.

Fullerton took a 14-7 halftime lead by scoring on its first four possessions of the second half. The Hornets rushed for 370 yards. Mt. San Antonio is 3-2 and 1-2.

Orange Coast 41, San Diego City 8--Adrain Steen rushed 17 times for 126 yards and the Pirates (3-1, 2-1) gained 394 yards in total offense at San Diego.

San Diego City (0-5, 0-3) first scored in the third quarter on a 97-yard return of a botched extra point attempt by Orange Coast, which made the score, 27-2.
