Space Data Recording: Odetics Inc., an Anaheim-based company, said it has been awarded a $7.7-million contract to build 12 space data-recording machines for the European Space Agency. The company will also supply two space recorders to Tokyo-based Nippon Electric Corp. Odetics has built more than 300 space recorders, which capture and store data aboard space satellites.
