TUSTIN : Schools Incumbent Raises Most Funds
Incumbent Gloria Tuchman leads fund raising in the Tustin Unified School District race, according to documents filed last week with the registrar of voters.
Tuchman has raised more than $10,000 in contributions and loans and has spent $6,741 in her reelection bid.
Challenger Maurice A. Ross, former district superintendent, has raised $3,359 so far, including $1,200 in loans from himself. He has spent $2,460.
Incumbent Jane Bauer trails in fund raising, with contributions totaling $1,532--including a $633 loan to herself. She has spent $1,501.
The three candidates will square off Thursday at 7 p.m. in a forum at Tustin City Hall, 300 Centennial Way.
