OXNARD : Drive-By Shooting Wounds Youth, 15
A 15-year-old Oxnard boy was struck in the arm by a bullet Wednesday afternoon in a drive-by shooting on Campbell Way, a city police spokesman said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was fired upon at 3:10 p.m. by one of three occupants in a passing car. He was treated for the gunshot wound to his right arm at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard.
Oxnard police officials said they are uncertain whether it was a gang-related shooting.
