Rexon Expects 52% Rise in Profits for Quarter
Rexon, a Simi Valley maker of computer data storage equipment, said it expects to post a 52% jump in fourth-quarter profits on a 25% jump in sales. For the quarter ending Sept. 30, the company anticipates a $2.25-million profit on sales of $41.1 million, compared to a $1.48-million profit on sales of $32.8 million a year earlier.
For the full year, Rexon expects to post a 13% decline in profits to $8.47 million, down from $9.79 million a year earlier. Sales increased 8% to $158.2 million from $146.8 million a year earlier.
