Mitsubishi Wins: While American car makers want to persuade consumers that they can equal or best the Japanese in quality, at least one Japanese car company seems to think the Germans are the ones to aim at.
Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, the Cypress importer and distributor of Mitsubishi trucks and autos, trumpeted recently that the car known here as the Mitsubishi Mirage was judged the most reliable small car in Germany by the Allegemeiner Deutscher Automobile Club, a leading German motoring group.
