FREUDIAN: At UC Irvine, the special guest at last week’s opening of “Sigmund Freud’s Antiquities” also was named Freud-- William Freud, a Newport Beach internist and second cousin of the father of psychiatry. . . . He declared his renowned ancestor’s sculptures to be “a very beautiful, very meaningful exhibit.” . . . And yes, William Freud prepared for a career in psychiatry but changed his mind.
