What in the World Will We Do?
I applaud Gary L. Hausdorfer’s Commentary (“Everyone Must Help Save Environment,” Nov. 11) for his insight into what must be done to save the environment.
The issue of preserving the environment is a very popular one but, unfortunately, a costly one as well. People need to stick with this important movement, even when they hear the words “new taxes,” because accomplishing this goal, like any other, is certainly not an easy task.
As Mr. Hausdorfer wrote, our efforts to preserve the environment must come from everyone--all levels of government, big and small business and, of course, the taxpayers.
If we would dedicate ourselves to work efficiently and effectively, we certainly could preserve our precious natural world.
