Resident’s Call Leads to Arrest of 2 in Burglary
COSTA MESA — Two suspected burglars were arrested Thursday after a resident dialed 911 from a second-floor bedroom to report that two men had kicked down her door and were downstairs.
The intruders, who went upstairs and found the resident on the phone, fled the Palmer Street location in a red Volkswagen. Police stopped a car matching that description and arrested Anthony Lee Likai, 23, of Santa Ana and James Michael Linquist, 29.
