THE SIDELINES : Hawks-Celtics to Resume Game
</i>
NEW YORK — The game between the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics, suspended Wednesday night due to condensation on the playing floor, will be resumed on Dec. 23 at 1 p.m.
The NBA announced that play will be picked up from the point at which the game was stopped, with Boston leading 37-22 and 10:30 remaining in the second quarter.
Dec. 23 was selected because it was the earliest open date that caused the least inconvenience to both teams. Neither club had been scheduled to play between Dec. 22-26.
