Free-agent pitcher Ted Power signed a one-year contract to rejoin the Cincinnati Reds after a three-year absence. Terms were not disclosed.

The right-hander was 1-3 with a 3.66 earned-run average and seven saves while pitching for the Pittsburgh Pirates last season.

The former Dodger split the 1988 season with the Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers and was with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1989.
