Poway
A man charged with making methamphetamine in a laboratory less than a block from Poway High School pleaded guilty Monday to possessing the drug for sale. Gary Alan Lundblade, 44, entered his plea before San Diego Superior Court Judge Jesus Rodriguez, who scheduled sentencing for Feb. 13.
Lundblade could be sentenced to a maximum of six years in prison and a $20,000 fine, according to court records.
“I knowingly possessed methamphetamine for sale. The amount possessed was in excess of 3 pounds,” Lundblade wrote on his change of plea form.
Lundblade remains free until sentencing.
He was arrested Jan. 6 after a man staying at Lundblade’s house was seen under the influence of drugs and was arrested by his parole agent, authorities said. The house was then searched, and drugs and manufacturing paraphernalia was found, they said. Lundblade no longer lives at the house in the 15600 block of Riparian Road.
