Mystery Writer to Give Free Lecture

“Whodunit” author Wendy Nelson Hornsby will tell “how to do it” on Jan. 17 at the Hacienda Heights Public Library.

The “How to Write a Mystery” program by Hornsby, who teaches at Long Beach City College, is free and will begin at 7:30 p.m. at 16010 La Monde St.

Hornsby is a graduate of Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights. Her most recent book is “Half a Mind,” the sequel to her “No Harm.”
