Elvis Sightings: There were signs of Elvis all over Los Angeles on Tuesday, which would have been the 56th birthday of the King. Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps, the zany morning team at KLOS-FM, presented a sky-diving likeness of Elvis that parachuted to a Riverside County drop site. Another Elvis event involved the return of the flowery Elvis bust to Southern California. The 1,400-pound bust that adorned Mississippi’s float in the 1990 Rose Parade went the Southwest Museum.
