Diamond Bar Official Named Woman of Year
Grace C. Lin, a Diamond Bar planning commissioner, has been named 52nd Assembly District Woman of the Year by Assemblyman Paul Horcher (R-Whittier).
Lin, 41, will be honored Monday in Sacramento along with women from other districts. The Women Legislators Caucus, composed of five state senators and 14 Assembly members, sponsors the event after asking legislators to submit the names of outstanding women in their districts.
Lin, born and educated in Taiwan, is a real estate agent and active in local Chinese community organizations. She is married and has two sons.
“Grace Lin richly deserves this distinction,” Horcher said in a prepared statement. “Her contributions to her community should be properly recognized.”
