Bigger Challenge?

I was flabbergasted when I read the Feb. 24 Outtakes piece on Larry Travis, the USC cinema major who is reshooting scenes from “Ishtar” for a class project.

I know Larry; he’s a swell guy, and it’s great for him to get some attention. But why reward somebody for rising to so trivial a challenge? Now if he were doing “Heaven’s Gate”. . . .
