Last Laughs: Carl Reiner was honored for lifetime creative achievement at the American Comedy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium. Reiner, 69, has won Emmys for such TV hits as “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and “Caesar’s Hour.” Other winners at the Saturday event included Tracey Ullman, who won best female TV performer for “The Tracey Ullman Show”; Ted Danson, named best male TV performer for “Cheers”; Meryl Streep, winner of the best movie actress award for “Postcards From the Edge,” and Macaulay Culkin, named best movie actor for “Home Alone.” The awards show will air April 3 on ABC.
