Dayton Hudson Corp.: The retailer’s fourth-quarter earnings fell 6% to $235 million on revenue that rose 8% to $4.37 billion. Annual income increased slightly to $412 million on revenue that was up 8% to $14.74 billion. Two of the company’s units had record operating profit for the year--Target at $466 million and Mervyn’s at $366 million. Dayton Hudson said costs associated with an employee stock ownership plan and its acquisition of Marshall Field last summer lowered results.
