San Diego
Eighteen people in a Southeast San Diego card room were robbed at gunpoint Thursday night by three men wearing ski masks, a Police Department spokesman said Friday.
About 11:30 p.m., the three robbers entered Tracey’s Card Room in the 1300 block of 47th Street and forced 18 card players to lie on the floor, spokesman Bill Robinson said.
One by one, the bandits, two of whom brandished handguns, robbed the card players, placing their money and valuables into a bucket, he said.
