Health Care Priorities
Despite whose fault it is and what brought the County Medical Services down, we need to concentrate on the immediate solution for health care for the needy.
Sometimes, we tend to get far more involved in the bureaucracy of the system rather than our primary motive. Instead of trying to pinpoint the offender or conjuring up lawsuits, we need to focus our attention on ways to earn money so this program can continue.
Thousands of the uninsured will suffer because of the loss of the CMS program. I feel that there is a pathway which can be taken. With a joint effort with the state and county, I believe that a compromise can be worked out and, if not, ways to gain funds should be explored.
We are dealing with human lives now, and money should not be an obstacle to cross.
