SANTA PAULA : College to Open New Men’s Dorm
A new residence hall at Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula will provide housing for 48 male students.
St. Bernard Residence Hall, a 10,050-square-foot dormitory, is the second permanent residence hall at the campus. St. Katharine Residence Hall, dedicated in April 1989, houses 44 women.
The remainder of the 196 students live in temporary buildings installed when the campus was established in 1971.
The new residence hall will be dedicated April 25. Archbishop Roger Mahony of Los Angeles will preside.
Thomas Aquinas, a liberal arts college located on North Ojai Road north of the city of Santa Paula, is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.
