Countywide : Panel Starts Hot Line to Catch Thieves
The California Avocado Commission has established a telephone hot line to catch avocado thieves in Ventura County and elsewhere in the state. Avocado growers hope that tips on the toll-free line will lead to the recovery of stolen avocados and the arrest of those suspected of stealing them.
