Tim Hovland and Kent Steffes, both of Manhattan Beach, beat defending champions Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos, 15-11, in the championship match of the pro volleyball Cuervo Gold tournament at Clearwater, Fla. The winners earned $50,000.
