I was hoping that Oliver Stone’s new movie on the Doors would tell the truth and show us what Jim Morrison was really like. After reading, in your article, that Stone “plays down some of Morrison’s excesses and recut parts of the film to make Val Kilmer’s character more likable,” I realized that the movie would be nothing more than the truth according to Oliver Stone.
