Panel Set on Marketing of Burnett Film

The Independent Feature Project/West will present a panel discussion on the making and marketing of Charles Burnett’s “To Sleep With Anger” Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Oscar Room of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

In addition to Burnett and its star Danny Glover, who was also an executive producer on the film, others expected to participate are the film’s other executive producers, Edward Pressman and Harris Tulchin, producers Caldecot Chubb and Thomas Byrnes and marketing specialist Charles Richardson.

Also scheduled to appear are Tom Rothman, vice president of world distribution for the Samuel Goldwyn Co., the film’s distributor, and Jeff Ringler of Sony Video Systems.

Moderating the panel will be L.A. Weekly columnist Anne Thompson.
