$34,000 for Dog Bathroom
Associated Press
MONTREAL — The city of Montreal will spend $34,000 to build an experimental bathroom for dogs in a city park.
The enclosed facility will feature three concrete poles, urinals in a bed of crushed stone, trees, shrubs and benches for owners.
Council member Nick Auf der Maur questioned the logic of building bathrooms for dogs in a city that built an entire subway system without public toilets and has systematically eliminated toilets for humans in city parks.
